Before You Visit

Our office serves primarily as expedition coordination headquarters. We recommend scheduling appointments in advance, particularly if you wish to discuss specific expedition requirements or view equipment.

Most expedition planning can be handled via email correspondence. This allows our guides to remain in the field rather than confined to office environments.

Common Questions

How far in advance should I book?

Popular periods like summer wildlife viewing and winter aurora seasons often fill three to four months ahead. Spring and autumn typically offer more flexibility, with bookings possible four to six weeks in advance.

What fitness level is required?

Requirements vary significantly by expedition type. Mountain tours demand cardiovascular endurance and comfort with uneven terrain. Kayaking adventures require upper body strength and swimming ability. We provide detailed fitness assessments for each experience category and can recommend appropriate options based on your current condition.

Do you offer private expeditions?

Yes. Private bookings are available for all expedition types, subject to guide availability and minimum participant requirements for safety protocols. Pricing adjusts based on group size and specific route customization requests.

What happens if weather forces cancellation?

Safety takes priority over schedules. If conditions make an expedition unsafe, we offer rescheduling to alternative dates or full refunds. Partial completions due to mid-expedition weather events are prorated based on days completed.
